Oratorically Optimistic

This past weekend was the Optimist International Essay and Oratorical Contest.

Breyer was sooooo excited to be going.
Miller just wanted to know when he could play with his ball.

Sawyer was going for the refreshments!

Cooper was thankful he wasn't giving a speech.

Meet contestant #1, Mr. "OK"

Meet contestant #2, Mr. "SO"

Meet contestant #3, Mr. "UM"

Did we ever mention how we love contests that no one EVER enters?

Unbelievable...another win for the Schenewarks. WHERE do you PUT all their awards? :) Breyer has some BIG shoes to fill!

I want to see the text of Jarrod's essay. Let's go, pull that puppy out of storage!

And I love that picture of Breyer, the princess of your family.

A Schenewark sweep! Good for you boys to take the time to work on this important skill. What were your speeches about?

BeaUtiful Breyer pic, you're having way too much fun dressing her up :)

Okay, as a result of being part of a Toasmasters club back in my heyday, I count taboo filler words like "um" in speeches, how many did he say?! Probably none, you're just pulling our leg LOL

First of all, Breyer is absolutely adorable. And I'd love to hear how you came up with her name.

Secondly, you have a knack for finding great contests (that no one enters), but that your kids would win even if there were other contestants!

You are awesome!
