NINE MONTHS in Days: Birthday Weekend Extravaganza

On my birthday weekend in November, my brother Zach flew me home to Boston. My 6 a.m. flight began on the tarmac at the Huntington Airport on a very small jet.

Arriving in Boston at 10 a.m. allowed for a quick visit to see my brother's new law office, Hutchins law.

I have friends all over the nation who love me.
These gals got together in Boston to celebrate with me.

Loved this little doll from my sister-in-law.
I can handle one.

I was made a princess for the day!
Laughed and laughed over the tutu.

Cute shoes and hat.

It's a personalized water bottle, courtesy of the host, Ann.

Lots of good foods and friends!

Saturday morning began with a chilly soccer game, and a crazy shopping trip with Becky and Mom.

One hideous nutcracker.

We squeezed in one quick visit to the Boston temple,

just me and the folks.
Dad played chauffeur all weekend, thanks!

Surprise 70th birthday party meant I got to visit with high school friends!

Sunday morning was an opportunity to see my brother set apart as Stake President of the Providence Rhode Island Stake by Elder C. Scott Grow and Lansing.

I also got to visit my nephew's gravesite with Becky.
Sigh.

And Sunday ended with dinner at my twin's house, with a birthday celebration. Neither of us had our husbands, but it was still a great party.

It really was great to see you on that trip! I miss you! You need to move back and move into my ward!! Your family would more than double our youth population!! It would be a party all the time! think on it!

You really had a fun-packed weekend, and I'm so glad you were able to visit Uncle David in the hospice home on your way to the airport. It meant a lot, and I know he knew you were there. TGO loved you very much!

I second smilin sunshines plan!!!
You could have cropped out my rear end though and still had a picture of you and my little girl who was stealing everyone's food at your shower. :)
