A Garden Story for Mom

Cooper, Cooper, quite contrary,
How does your garden grow?
With yellow flowers, and green leaves,
and winter squash all in a row.
A really big row.

Mom planted winter squash seeds the beginning of April during her visit here, and wanted to know how it was doing. Fabulous. Apparently there was plenty of rain while we were gone, hot sun, and otherwise perfect growing conditions.
Thank you!

Love me some winter squash. That was so sweet of mom to do that. Now you can think of her when you harvest it. :)

Heyyy, that was one LITTLE plant when we were there for a visit, talk about growing like weeds (and boys)! I love such unexpected surprises :)
