Granbury High School freshman boys won the Jerry’s Kanga Klassic basketball tournament on November 29-December 1, 2018, at Weatherford High School.
The Pirates won first place with victories over Fort Worth Western Hills, Decatur, and Cleburne. The boys are 8-0 on the season, following a win over Weatherford on December 4.
Team member are Ethan Armstrong, Hunter Bright, Corbin King, Tyler McCalip, Payton Plash, Elijah Riggio, Anthony Salgado, Sawyer Schenewark, Luke Stettler, Elijah Verrett, and Nathan Wisely.
The coach is Jason Shahan.
