Words for the Wingmen

Dear Elder Schenewark & Fam,

We miss you!!! You, Elder Schenewark, and also all of you beyond arm’s reach. Did I mention this is my last full month of work? Well, it is, and that should matter to you because if you’re reading this that means that sometime in the next two months we’re going to be within an arm’s reach J  Elder Schenewark, you and the Uncle Zach gang are the lone exceptions, but the Schenewark hotel always needs visitors so…

News of the week: We had fun watching AnneMarie’s cousin Karina take first in both of her heats at the BYU track meet. AnneMarie was a dedicated fan, attending both days--Friday and Saturday—even though Friday it was pouring. Even with the rain, it was a blast to cheer on the Cougars. We’ll be back!

In more family news, Jessica got engaged! Which, more importantly, means that I have a new brother (in-law). We’re so excited for them, and for me, and can’t wait till they make it official here in a couple of months.

In Nora news, she has progressed from inch-worming to being able to lift her bottom and knees all the way off the ground. She is a rolling, scooting machine, and I predict the days are numbered before she’s able to crawl. She’s starting to eat more solids, and I think her favorite so far is watermelon which she suck on when it’s encased in her food-holding binky.

Lastly, the most momentous news of the week, AnneMarie celebrated her first Mother’s Day. What a sweet time! Nora put motherhood to a test today, waking up at 5:15, not napping, and fussing her way out of sacrament (where I was playing for the primary kids), but other than that it was a great day/week. And tonight, we were treated to Key Lime Shrimp tacos.

Schenewarks Out,

Love,

Tanner, AnneMarie, and #NoChurchNora
