The Appalachian Jamie Oliver

Every Sunday Miller asks if we're going to Kirby's house.
Therese has often invited us all, 8, over for dinner.
There are not very many people we know that would do this.
Especially on a regular basis.
She's my cooking hero.
She's Miller's movie hero.
She lets him pick movies from her library, alphabetized, to borrow.
Better than the library.
And definitely better than eating out.
THANK YOU!

The Kirby's are so kind they even have the Bach's come over when they are in town. 8 + 2 dinner guests, now that is a cooking hero.

She sounds like my kind of gal.
And her house is probably a happy house, too. It's nice to have friends like her!

Wow was I surprised to find myself immortalized on the Schenewark's blog. This is my one claim to fame. I love having the Schenewark family over to our home. They are such a great example to everyone they come into contact with and I feel thankful to call them my friends.

Julia wants recognition for being the one who alphabetized and maintains the dvd collection.
